Welcome to Saurin Patel, CPA
Saurin Patel is a professional accountant working in the field of accounting and finance for more than 15 years. Much of his career has involved serving small to mid-sized privately owned Canadian companies.
Saurin was born in Ahmedabad, India. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Advanced Accounting and Master’s degree in Cost Accounting from Gujarat University. His quest for finding success and achieving something big began by migrating to Chicago, where he worked for a local CPA firm. He spent two years in New Jersey working for a small accounting firm while studying for the CPA. Saurin obtained his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation from the University of Illinois and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

He moved to Canada in 1999 to follow his passion for business and started working with Canadian entrepreneurs on a contract basis. He admires entrepreneurs, recognizes the need for innovation and welcomes change as an opportunity to do things differently. Every person and business works and operates differently. Saurin takes time to learn that uniqueness and retains that knowledge. He has an amazing ability to transfer that knowledge to the next person or business. He is focused on getting the most value for what you have and thinks about every possible way he can help make your business better.
In July 2012, Saurin founded his self-titled accounting firm in Burlington. He works with the community and small businesses to help them with their accounting, tax and business advisory needs. Saurin is looking to partner with individuals and businesses that are value-driven and seeking a financial professional who demonstrates integrity, quality and understanding of their sense of urgency. He received his Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation from Certified Management Accountants of Ontario in 2013.
Saurin enjoys practicing yoga at his favorite studio, Chrysalis Yoga, and raising his young family in North Burlington. He is an avid golfer and plays regularly at Indian Wells, Lowville and Hidden Lake Golf Clubs.
